The Medford Gospel Mission has always relied on volunteers to partner up with us to take care of people that are in need in our community.  It all started in 1958 when concerned community members and churches joined together to give a hand up to those in need right here in the Rogue Valley.

The Medford Gospel Mission is asking the citizens of the Rogue Valley... "What is the ONE THING that you can do?"

When you are in need... just ONE THING can make a huge difference. We can all do... ONE THING... to give a hand-up to those in need in our community.

If you could do ONE THING to make a difference for one person would you? In one action, an hour of volunteering, a monthly gift, a donation of clothes, in that one action you could change someone's life for good.  When you pick up those green beans or corn that are on sale at the store, spend an hour or two serving a meal or rummaging through your closet for clothes you don't wear, you are benefiting another human life.  You have changed someone's day. Just ask yourself, "Can I remember a time when I was down in the dumps and someone smiled or gave me an encouraging word?" Don't you remember how that felt? So ask yourself, "What is the ONE THING that I can do to make a difference in the life of someone in need?
